A woman from Licking was injured Monday afternoon in a crash about six miles north of her hometown, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Cpl. Stacy Crewse said an eastbound 2024 Toyota Venza driven by a 61-year-old Licking woman slowed to make a right turn on Highway CC and was struck in the rear by a 2015 Chevrolet pickup operated by a 24-year-old Licking man.

The woman, who was wearing a seat belt,  was taken by ambulance to Phelps Health in Rolla with minor injuries. The pickup had moderate damage, and the Toyota had extensive damage. The patrol said the man was not wearing a seatbelt.
