Anna Mary Majorowicz, 85, of Success, Missouri, passed away on July 13, 2025, at her home in Success, Missouri.
A family viewing was held at Evans Funeral Home at 10 a.m. July 18, 2025, with a private family memorial after.
Anna Majorowicz was born in La Fargeville, New York to Charles and Agnes Bates on Dec. 11, 1939. She worked as a waitress and factory worker throughout her life as well as a nurse’s aide. She enjoyed gardening and houseplants, rescuing animals, collecting many different types of music and dancing the jig when the mood struck her.
Anna Majorowicz is survived by her husband, Allan Majorowicz; her six children, Kennith (Butch) Hughes, Jr. of Bryan, Texas, Teresa A. Young of Success, John C. Hughes of Dalonega, Georgia, Clarence E. Lucas of Bryan, Texas, Fabrice (Jeff) Lucas of Success, and Francine J. Krivanek of Alma, Arkansas; her stepchild, Cheryl and husband Randy Grace of Sarcoxie, Missouri; her brother, Roger and wife Dee Bates of Copenhagen, New York; 24 grandkids; 53 great grandkids; six great great grandkids; and countless nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Agnes Bates; her brother, Bruce F. Bates; her daughter, Kimberly G. Lucas; and her stepson, Edward Majorowicz.
