Members of the Texas County Commission handled several matters during meetings July 16 and 17.
Members:
- Reviewed and approved accounts payable for Murray Air, LLC.
- Prepared a letter of support of the Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzBI) and Twin Cities.
- Prepared and sent a letter to the Highways and Transportation Commission concerning safety issues with Shafer Road.
- The commissioners heard from the sheriff on proposals for the use of Title III funds and signed a grant application for the Deputy Sheriff Supplemental Salary Fund (DSSSF).
In other business, commissioners heard from:
- Mary Ellen Higashi, Lynch Township treasurer, on area concerns.
