The following are excerpts from just some of the reports recently generated by the Texas County Sheriff’s Department:
- On July 4, a deputy was dispatched to a theft call at a Robertson Drive residence in Licking. The deputy made contact with a 38-year-old woman there who advised that the previous night her mother noticed that the woman’s purse was outside, and upon inspection, the woman noticed her wallet was missing loose change and two Walmart gift cards. At the time of reporting, no evidence or leads were available regarding potential suspects.Â
- On June 25, a man from Licking reported that someone had felled a tree on his property, and it hit his neighbor’s mailbox.
