Fatal crash

Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol recorded a fatality Saturday night, it said.

Tpr. Ethan Minge said a westbound 2012 GMC Sierra driven by a 45-year-old Eminence man travelled off the right side of Route 106 and struck a tree at about 8 p.m. The accident was eight miles west of Ellington.

A 53-year-old Eminence male passenger, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced deceased at the scene by Coroner Allen Ford. Next of kin has been notified. The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, and another male passenger from Beebe, Arkansas, who was not, were flown to Cox South in Springfield with serious injuries.

The vehicle was totaled, Minge said.
