The 13th annual meeting of the Sustainable Ozarks Partnership — a group that includes membership from Texas County and is designed to boost Fort Leonard Wood — is Wednesday, Aug. 13, and it is open to the public.
Those attending will hear how federal, state, regional and military leaders — as well as local communities, governments and organizations — are working together to make the Fort Leonard Wood region a better place, while supporting mission success and growth.
The meeting starts at 9 a.m. and continues until 1 p.m. at The ARK, 25625 Route 17 in Waynesville.
Deadline to register is Monday, Aug. 11.
“This year’s meeting will focus on how we continue to navigate change as we embrace opportunities and work to overcome challenges,” the partnership said in a press release. “SOP will also provide a report on our regional accomplishments, consider the organization’s performance over the past year and set objectives for the coming year.”
