Local balloon artist Jelly Otis, of Jellyfish Entertainment in Eminence, entertained kids Thursday morning at the Houston branch of the Texas County Library.

Otis was the last presenter in a series of Thursday morning events for kids during this year’s Summer Reading Program in Houston. As she created musical instruments from balloons, kids would guess what instrument was being made and whoever guessed correctly got to keep it.

The program concludes with a party at the Houston Municipal Pool from 6 to 8 p.m. this Friday (Aug. 1).
