​​The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:
Between July 14 and 20, the Houston Police Department responded to 220 calls for service and initiated 61 traffic stops, resulting in 23 citations and 56 warnings.
- On July 14, officers were dispatched to the 800 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a forgery. A 42-year-old female was arrested and transported to the Texas County Jail. A report will be forwarded to the Texas County Prosecutor for formal charges.
- On July 14, officers were dispatched to the 700 block of W. Route 17 for a report of trespassing. Officers cited Jackson C. Morgan, 48, of Houston, for first-degree trespassing.
- On July 15, officers responded to the intersection of U.S. 63 and W. Route 17 for a motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported and only minor damage occurred.
- On July 17, officers responded to the 700 block of W. Chestnut Street for a domestic dispute. Both parties agreed to separate for the day.
- On July 18, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for multiple thefts. Following investigation of the thefts, officers cited Austa Bleckler, 24, of Licking, for six counts of stealing under $750.
- On July 18, officers received a fraud report from a citizen. The investigation is ongoing.
- On July 18, officers responded to the intersection of U.S. 63 and E. Route 17 for a motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
- On July 18, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for burglary and theft. A 62-year-old female was arrested and transported to the Texas County Jail. A report will be forwarded to the Texas County Prosecutor for formal charges.
- On July 18, officers were advised that a male had pointed a gun at another individual at a traffic light following a driving incident that occurred outside of town. The 68-year-old male suspect was later arrested and transported to the Texas County Jail. A report was forwarded to the Texas County Prosecutor for formal charges.
- On July 19, officers responded to U.S. 63, near Highway B, for a motor vehicle crash involving an animal. No injuries were reported.
- On July 19, officers cited Edith Wen, 43, of Bucyrus, for operating a motor vehicle with no valid operator’s license.
- On July 19, officers received a report of a missing juvenile. The juvenile was later located.
- On July 20, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for two thefts. Following investigation, officers cited Trevor Mansker, 22, of Winona, for two counts of stealing under $750.
