A Houston woman was involved in a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Cpl. Mayela Barron said a westbound 2019 Ford Fusion driven by a 32-year-old Houston woman was attempting to make a turn and was struck by an eastbound 2005 Pontiac G6 operated by a 17-year-old Willow Springs boy at the top of a hill crest on County Road 5800 near Willow Springs.

The boy, who was wearing a seatbelt, sustained minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains.

The Pontiac had moderate damage; the Fusion had extensive damage. The patrol said the Houston woman was not wearing a seat belt.
