A motorcyclist from Bucyrus was hurt Wednesday afternoon in an accident about three miles north of Houston.
Cpl. Stacy Crewse said the wreck occurred when a southbound 2005 Mazda 3 driven by a 16-year-old Bucyrus girl was making a left turn and the motorcycle driven by a 29-year-old man attempted to pass and struck the car on Route 17.
The man, who was wearing a helmet, was taken with moderate injuries to Texas County Memorial Hospital.
