The Houston High school volleyball season begins in early September with a brand-new opponent.
The Lady Tigers, coming off a 21-12-3 campaign, start the 2025 season Sept. 4 at Steelville. It’s the first of three straight road matches to begin the year.
The home opener is Sept. 11 against county rival Licking. Another county opponent, Plato, is the following home game five days later.
HHS will host a pair of tournaments, beginning with the Houston Quad Tournament on Sept. 20 with Reeds Spring, Willow Springs and Waynesville. The team’s annual tournament sponsored by In Season Sports and Outdoors is Oct. 4.
For the second year in a row, the Lady Tigers will compete in the Pleasant Hope Play For Pink Tournament, This year’s version is Oct. 11.
Houston wraps up the regular season at home Oct. 16 in a conference matchup with Ava for Senior Night.
