Two children were injured Sunday night in an accident about three miles east of Cabool, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Tpr. Chad Johnson said an eastbound 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by a 25-year-old Sidney, Arkansas, woman ran off the right side of U.S. 60, struck an embankment and rolled twice before coming to a rest at about 7:20 p.m.

Two children — a 10-year-old boy and 11-year-old girl — were taken with minor injuries to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. Neither was wearing a seat belt. The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured. The vehicle was totaled.
