In its latest report, the Cabool Police Department listed a range of activities, including traffic stops and responses to local incidents.

The department reported 38 traffic stops resulting in 22 summons and 12 warnings issued. No arrests for non-traffic offenses or warrants were made.

On Aug. 12, a one-vehicle accident occurred on Chestnut Street as a 2019 Subaru that was being pulled out of a driveway by Kimberlee Bauman ran into a ditch and culvert, officers said.

In total, police handled one accident, three alarms, four animal complaints, two civil matters, one impaired subject incident, one juvenile matter, one mental instability incident, one peace disturbance, two suspicious activity incidents, assisted other agencies seven times and assisted the public twice.

The fire department was dispatched 17 times.
