The Houston Education Foundation will hold its annual ‘Raise a Pint for Education’ fundraiser from 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30 at the Piney River Brewery. 

The event will feature a cornhole competition, pulled pork, raffles, drinks, live music and more. Music will be provided by Casey Lynne & the Dealbreakers from 5 to 8 p.m. 

Proceeds from the event benefit Houston Education Foundation, a nonprofit supporter of the Houston R-1 School District. 

CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT

The cornhole tournament sponsored by Country Financial will begin at 3 p.m. Competition will take place in two divisions – competitive and recreational. There are cash prizes for first through third place in both divisions. The cost is $60 per team, which includes a meal. Registration begins at 2 p.m.
