Houston Schools has been awarded $5,000 in the T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights contest. The district is one of 450 nationwide to be awarded the $5K Fridays prize.
T-Mobile said 25 districts will receive $25,000 to upgrade their programs. One final winner will receive the grand prize of $1 million. HHS fans are encouraged to support the cause by posting any photos or videos related to Friday night football – the game, band, cheerleaders, tailgates and fans – and tag @tmobile and @houstonmotigers and include the hashtags #FN5GL and  #sweepstakes.
