Jeffrey Lynn Ward was born on July 3, 1964, to Emit Kenneth (Kenny) Ward and Marie Edith (Pinkston) Ward in Houston, Missouri. He passed away in his home in Houston on Aug. 7, 2025, at the age of 61. 

Jeff graduated from Houston High School in 1982. He enjoyed the outdoors as much as the next guy. He enjoyed hunting and anything that had some get up and go: motorcycles, jet skis, dune buggies, and in his younger days, horses. In his adult life, Jeff worked in heating and air repair for the hospital in Fort Leonard Wood. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Houston. 

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, Kenny and Edith; grandparents; nephew, Kris Ward; and sister-in-law, Terisa Ward. 

He is survived by sister, Charlotte (Lexey) Neal; two brothers, Larry (Dawn) Ward and Joe Ward; seven nieces and nephews; eight great nieces and nephews; and numerous friends. 

A graveside service will take place at 2 p.m. Aug. 16, 2025, at Oakland Cemetery in Success, Missouri. Pastor Don Crockett will be officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.evansfh.com.
