Texas County Public Water Supply District No. 1 is hailing the operation of its new well.

“The well is pumping as it should, and our technicians will continue to monitor it to make sure that everything is working properly,” the entity said in an announcement on Friday.

It noted its appreciation of several entities that offered support to make it possible.

“We would like to thank our customers for their patience during this stressful time. We hope that with the completion of this project we will be able to continue to provide a good standard of service to the community,” it said.

The district serves Roby, Success and Bucyrus regions.
