Timothy Dale Morgan Sr., son of Leonard and Sharon (Dewitt) Morgan, was born on April 2, 1976, at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. He passed away on Aug. 21, 2025, at the age of 49. 

Timothy was united in marriage to Shawna Jean Morgan on March 16, 2002. To their union, two children were born: Timothy Dale Morgan Jr. (T.J.) and fiancée Desiree Venable, and Aryanna Faye Jean Sloan and husband Dalton Sloan. He was blessed with three grandchildren: Sophia Sloan, Dalton (Bubby) Sloan and Kristina Sloan.

Tim was baptized at the age of 10 and grew up in the Hartshorn and Raymondville communities, where he attended Houston High School. He went on to serve his country with pride in the Army National Guard. Following his service, Tim devoted himself to a career in mechanical work and forestry/logging work. 

Tim enjoyed spending time with his wife, kids and grandkids. He loved spending time with his parents, Sharon and Leonard Morgan. He enjoyed the outdoors, demolition derbies, gambling at poker nights with the family, four-wheeling, eating and was a truck enthusiast.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Dewitt; uncle, Rockey Dewitt; aunt, Brenda Dewitt; great-grandmother, Dollie Stringer; grandmother, Edith (Gale) Morgan; and grandfather, Vin Morgan.

Survivors include his father, Leonard Morgan; mother, Sharon Morgan; two sisters, Michelle Marr and Tabitha Gore; his wife, Shawna Morgan; his children, Timothy Morgan Jr. and fiancée Desiree Venable, and Aryanna (Morgan) Sloan and husband Dalton Sloan; three grandchildren, Kristina, Dalton (Bubby) and Sophia; grandmother, Evelyn (Stringer) Dewitt mother-in-law, Marilyn Sewell; father-in-law, Gary Ball; brother-in-law, Josh Hebblethwaite; sister-in-law, Bobbie Crawford; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Tim will be remembered for his love of family, his strong work ethic and his joyful spirit. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025, with Rev. Gary Steelman officiating. Interment is in the Antioch Cemetery at Hartshorn. Services are under the care of Bradford Funeral Home and online condolences may be left at www.bradfordfuneralhome.net.
