A Raymondville man was injured in a head-on collision Tuesday in Phelps County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
MSgt. S.W. Cunningham said a southbound 2003 Chevrolet G3500 swerved to miss a deer and struck a northbound 2011 Ford Ranger operated by a 26-year-old Raymondville resident on Highway J at County Road 6610.
Both drivers, who were wearing seat belts and not identified by the patrol, were taken with minor injuries by private vehicle to Phelps Health in Rolla following the 6:33 a.m. wreck. Both vehicles were totaled.
