Two fire departments responded Sunday afternoon to a grass fire that threatened a trailer home park and neighboring property.
The 3 p.m. call involved an area at Highway E and Tiffany Drive north of Houston off Highway E. Firefighters from Houston and Raymondville assisted.
The blaze was declared contained at about 4 p.m.
