Authorities are seeking a Cabool woman who failed to surrender herself at the Texas County Jail.

Michelle Marr, born in 1970, failed to appear at the Texas County Jail on June 30 as she earlier promised during a court appearance, according to a law enforcement report.

On June 17, she appeared before a circuit judge and admitted that she had broken her probation by failing to abstain from possession of controlled substances and other violations. She was sentenced to seven years in prison, but it was suspended in lieu of five years of probation. She also was ordered to a confinement program as part of the sentence.

A felony charge of failure to appear was filed Monday, Aug. 18.
