The annual Wedgewood Cat and Dog Tournament was July 26-27. Organizers reported that golfers braved a hot, humid weekend to compete.

The championship team with a score of 64 was Jones/Swanson; second place, Tune/Tune with a 65; and third,  Green/Benyo with a score of 67.  A-Flight winners included first, Keeling/Benyo; second, Hicks/Hicks; and third, Smith/Smith.  B-Flight winners included Potts/Potts; second, Clary/Harper; and third, Jones/Bady. 

Organizers recognized hole sponsors BF Byproducts, Brian Fleming; Dugger Trash, Rick Pamperien; Edgeller and Harper, John Alltermatt and Wedgewood Country Club.  Closest to the Pin (CTP) Hole 2/11 Bill Green, Willow Springs; and Tara Snelson, Ava.  CTP Hole 5/14 Roger Tune, Houston and Julie Crampton, West Plains.  CTP Hole 6/15 Second Shot Gatlin Keeling, Mountain Grove and Linda Benyo, Willow Springs.  CTP Hole 7/16 Carl Hicks, Willow Springs; and Brenda Priester, Washington, Mo.   Longest Putt Hole 9/18 Jackie Nevels, Cabool with 29 feet.
