The Cabool Police Department made 30 traffic stops resulting in 16 summonses Sept. 14 to 21.

There were five arrests for non-traffic offenses. One warrant arrest was made.

On Sept. 16, officers responded to a 45-year-old man from Cabool who was traveling north through an alley in a 2017 Ford when the vehicle malfunctioned and struck a building at 413 Ozark St. No injuries were reported.

On Sept. 18, a 65-year-old woman from Mountain Grove was traveling west on Business 60 in a 2004 Chevrolet when she crossed the center line and struck a 2017 GMC driven by a 41-year-old female from Cabool. No injuries were reported.

On Sept. 21, a 72-year-old woman from Cabool was traveling east on Business 60 in a 2016 Chevrolet when she attempted to turn west onto Summit Street and ran off the left side of the road into a ditch. No injuries were reported.

Here is a breakdown on calls: accident (3), animal complaint (4), assault (16), civil matter (1), juvenile matter (2), peace disturbance (1), assisting the public (13), stealing/theft (1) and unsecured building (1). The fire department was dispatched 16 times.
