Several departments responded Saturday night to a charcoal plant fire in the Summersville area.

Authorities said they received a report at about 6:30 p.m. that a coal shed was on fire on County Road 341. The Summersville Fire Department responded. Raymondville Fire Department was called for mutual aid.

Later, fire departments at Tyrone and Clear Springs were called for tankers and personnel to the Royal Oak site northeast of Summersville.
