Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that an all-terrain vehicle accident Thursday afternoon in Howell County claimed a Dora man.
Tpr. Jared Hummel said a southbound Cam Am Outlander 100R driven by the 30-year-old man left County Road 7590 two miles south of Highway CC, struck an embankment and ejected the driver. He was pronounced deceased at Ozark Healthcare in West Plains. Next of kin was notified.
It is the 25th fatality of the year in Troop G, which includes Texas County. At the same time a year ago, it was 15.
