The Houston Community Foundation (HCF) will be accepting applications for its fall 2025 community grant round.
The application period opens on Sept. 23, with all applications due by Oct. 28. A total of $1,300 is available for programs and organizations in the Houston area. The Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO) offers other grant opportunities that local organizations may be eligible for. The HCF would encourage all eligible entities to consider all available CFO grant opportunities targeted for this area.
Nonprofit organizations with 501(c)3 or similar tax exempted status like schools, faith-based organizations or governmental entities are eligible to apply for grants. In awarding grants, the HCF and CFO will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity or veteran status.
Eligible nonprofits may begin the application process online at cfozarks.org/applyforgrants. For more information, contact Ross Richardson, HCF president, at 817-403-7203.
HCF was founded in 2006 with a mission to enhance the quality of life in Houston through resource development, community grant making, collaboration and public leadership. Founded in 1973, CFO is the region’s largest public charitable foundation serving a network of donors, 55 regional affiliate foundations – including HCF – and nonprofit partners across central and southern Missouri.
