The 2025 Houston High School homecoming weekend is here.
This year’s version begins Friday with the annual parade through downtown followed by the homecoming queen coronation and football game at Tiger Stadium. Saturday will feature activities hosted by the Houston Alumni Association.
FRIDAY’S FESTIVITIES
The parade lineup begins at noon, and the parade is expected to start at 1:45 p.m. This year’s theme is “Starry Night.”
The queen court includes freshmen Alli Huffman and Millie Manier; sophomores Jessyn Allen and Alexis Suda; juniors Alexi Lancaster and Sara Jones; and seniors Emery Christeson and Lizzy Ross. The coronation is 6:30 p.m. at Tiger Stadium.

The HHS football team kicks off conference play at 7 p.m. with a homecoming matchup against Salem. Houston is 1-1 following Friday night’s loss at Springfield Catholic. The game will be streamed live beginning at 6:45 p.m. at www.houstonherald.com/live.

SATURDAY ALUMNI GATHERINGS
The Alumni Association’s annual breakfast is 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Houston Senior Center on Grand Avenue. A social time will be held from 10 a.m. until noon. The group said all classes are welcome.
Some classes are also planning reunions.
