The Houston R-1 School District announced Monday morning that staff will be participating in intruder training during its Professional Development day on campus.
The district is collaborating with area law enforcement under the direction of Spearpoint LLC. There will be a police presence on campus as well as possible gunshot sounds, the district said. Both are part of the drill.
