Houston High School’s junior varsity football team defeated Salem 22-0 Monday night in Tiger Stadium.

The host Tigers scored two rushing touchdowns in the first half, one by freshman quarterback Stryker Sloan and another by sophomore running back MJ Morgan. Sloan ran for 2-point conversions after both TDs and Houston led 16-0 at halftime.

The Tigers added another 6 points in the second half on a touchdown pass from junior quarterback Kane Crawford to sophomore tight end Leland Robinson (a 2-point conversion run failed).

The Junior Tigers (2-0) travel to Cabool next Monday (Sept. 22).
