A man from Licking man is charged with four felonies after allegedly threatening a woman involved in an earlier case.
The Texas County Sheriff’s Department was called Saturday to a domestic dispute involving Joshua Coble, born in 1984, who was threatening to a stab a woman in the throat.
Coble is charged with tampering with a witness in a felony prosecution, a class D felony; armed criminal action, an unclassified felony; resisting/interfering with an arrest, a class E felony; and unlawful use of a weapon, exhibiting, a class E felony. Bond is set at $7,500 cash.
According to a report, Coble allegedly was displaying a knife. He refused to comply with orders from deputies, attempted to retrieve an officer’s service pistol, eventually was forced to the ground and resisted arrest, authorities said, who noted a knife was recovered near the residence’s front door on a desk.
