The Cabool Police Department made 31 traffic stops resulting in 10 summonses Sept. 22 to 28.
There were no arrests for non-traffic offenses. One warrant arrest was made.
On Sept. 25, officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on U.S. 63. A vehicle was traveling south on U.S. 63 at a high rate of speed, passed a vehicle, lost control and ran off the right side of the road, striking a concrete wall. The vehicle then continued driving on the shoulder, through a grass median area, struck an embankment, went airborne and landed in the middle of Business 60, where it came to rest in front of Reed Farm Supply.
