Members of the Texas County Commission reported attending several gatherings and events during meetings Oct. 22 and 23. 

EVENTS ATTENDED

  • Presiding Commissioner Scott Long attended the official launch of the Texas County Medical Corps. 
  • Commissioners spoke during the Texas County Republicans Meeting concerning ballot issues. 
  • Members of the commission attended the opening of the new Texas County Library in Houston, the annual meeting of the South Central Ozark Council of Governments (SCOCOG) and the salary commission meeting. 
  • The commission met with Christos House representatives for a proclamation signing for October as “Domestic Violence Awareness Month.”
