Houston Head Start held a special presentation Monday, Oct. 20 for Head Start Awareness Month.
Mayor Sam Kelley and state Rep. Bennie Cook honored staff with resolutions recognizing their commitment to educating children in the community. A United States flag and a Missouri flag – each having been flown over the Missouri Capitol building – were presented to the organization.
The program at 1470 S. Sam Houston Blvd. is managed by Sheena Postlewait and is operated by Ozark Action, Inc.
