The Houston Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations to fill five seats on its board of directors.

President Kevin Stilley spoke at the Houston City Council meeting last week to give an update on the chamber’s plans for the upcoming year. He said there would be a focus on membership and increasing activities, including possibly bringing back the Old Settlers Reunion.

In a statement, the chamber said it is seeking persons passionate about supporting local businesses and helping the community grow.

Nominations are due Nov. 12.

  1. The Houston Area Chamber of Commerce truly needs to update their telephone number. Today as of November 28th 2025 their telephone number is incorrect.
