Personnel from Houston’s American Legion Post 41 will be busy on Veterans Day (Tuesday, Nov. 11), participating in several tribute events around Texas County.
Scheduled appearances by members of the Post:
- 9 a.m. – Raymondville School.
- 9 a.m. – Walmart in Houston.
- 11 a.m. – Success School.
- 11 a.m. – Downtown Cabool by the miliary monuments.
- 11 a.m. – Licking Veterans Memorial Park. Event will feature three color guard teams, a firing and about 1,400 people in attendance (including adults and children).
- 1 p.m. – Houston Schools, inside Tiger Fieldhouse.
Post 41 members will also attend an event at Plato Schools at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12.
