Cabool police investigated three accidents in the last week, including one where a man in a motorized wheelchair was struck.

On Oct. 14, a 35-year-old man from Cabool was turning south onto Route 181 from Business U.S. 60 and struck the 57-year-old man crossing Route 181 in a wheelchair. There were no injuries reported, Cabool police said.

On Oct. 17, a 67-year-old Cash, Arkansas, man was driving a 2007 Chevrolet that turned north onto Route 181 from Route AD and was struck by a 2017 Lincoln operated by a 93-year-old Cabool woman who was traveling south of Route 181. There were no injuries.

On Oct 19, a 64-year-old woman was driving south on U.S. 63 in a 2001 Jeep. It ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a concrete wall. Police said she was not injured.

Cabool police handled 12 traffic stops that resulted in seven summonses. There were three arrests for non-traffic offenses were made.
