Kim Diana Briggs, age 67, passed away Oct. 15, 2025, at Ozarks Healthcare, West Plains, Missouri. She was born on July 14, 1958, in Rolla, Missouri, to Jim Yandell and Vivian (Bailey) Yandell. Kim married Darrell Leon Briggs on Aug. 5, 1978, at Eunice Baptist Church, Eunice, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Florence Hurt.
Survivors include her husband, Darrell Briggs of Hartshorn, Missouri; five children, Carolyn Briggs of St. Louis, Missouri, Angela Briggs and wife, Susan of Hartshorn, Missouri, Matthew Briggs and wife, Kristie of Hartshorn, Missouri, James Briggs of Cabool, Missouri, and Shane Briggs and wife, Carletta of Licking, Missouri; her parents, Jim Yandell of Honolulu, Hawaii and Vivian Yandell of Hartshorn, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Jaiden L Briggs, Nyccalas Watson, Tayshia Conner, Jaiden D. Briggs, Kady Briggs, Luke Briggs and Levi Briggs; and three great-grandchildren.
Kim loved to spend time with friends and family at the river. She was very talented at making people feel special with her gifts. Kim will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, at Assembly of God Church, Hartshorn, Missouri, with Pastor Gary Steelman officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri. Visitation was held prior to the service from 1- 2 p.m., also at the church. Interment was in Antioch Cemetery, Hartshorn. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
