Glenda Sue Malam, of Springfield, Missouri, went to be with our Lord and Savior Oct. 25, 2025. Glenda was born Oct. 7, 1948, to Oneta Aldridge and Claude Nipper in Houston, Missouri. Glenda married James Malam, the love of her life, Oct. 25,1966, and they had two incredible kids, Jami and Jody.
Glenda is survived by her husband, James Malam; daughter, Jami Jansen (Kevin), of Nixa, Missouri; and son, Jody Malam (Stacie), of Springfield, Missouri; grandchildren, Tarran Malam (Kathleen), Zachary Jansen (Maria), Taylor Malam, Katie Jansen, Jacey Suda and Jenna Jost (DJ); great grandchildren, Bishop Jackson, Gideon Jackson, Lorelei Jost and Lyana Jansen.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Oneta Holloway; father, Claude Nipper; and sister, Tennie Phinney.
Glenda will always be known for her quick wit, strong will and her loving and giving heart. Her love for her husband and family can only be described as unbreakable and her remarkable gift for cooking and baking will never be forgotten. We love you mom to the moon and back.

Visitation was from noon to 1 p.m., with a funeral service beginning at 1 p.m., with Pastor Phillip Wright officiating. Pallbearers were Kevin Jansen, Zach Jansen, Tarran Malam, Cheston Malam, Tim Malam and Nathan Kline. Arrangements were under the care and direction of Evans Funeral Home of Houston, Missouri.
