Two Texas County men are charged with stealing more than $750 after a wheelchair disappeared at a Houston residence.

Jason Hall of Houston, who was born in 1981, and Lonnie Quick, who is listed as homeless in court documents and who was born in 1987, are both charged with stealing – $750 or more, a class D felony. Bond is set at $1,500 each.

The Houston Police Department received a call Oct. 27 that the equipment had disappeared. Both suspects eventually admitted their involvement in the theft of the electric wheelchair. Some tools also were recovered. The wheelchair was in Hall’s garage, according to a report.

Quick has several convictions for stealing-related offenses, including convictions in February 2019 in Houston, June 2024 in Boone County, April 2024 in Phelps County and September 2024 in Phelps County.
