The annual “Don Tottingham Walk/Run with a Veteran” was Saturday in Houston.

Proceeds go to a $500 Houston High School scholarship and to HHS Y.O.U.T.H projects.

The event, sponsored by Community Betterment and Arts Council of Houston Inc. and HHS Community Betterment Y.O.U.T.H, honors Houston’s late mayor, who passed away in 2019. He served eight years leading city government.

It was staged beginning from the First Baptist Church campus.

Runners received a T-shirt. Food was available for donation after the race.
