A Cabool man is charged with several offenses following an incident Nov. 8, authorities said.

Timothy R. Neal, born in 1995, is charged with third-degree assault, a class E felony; unlawful use of a weapon – exhibiting, class E felony; unlawful possession of a firearm, class C felony; and armed criminal action, an unclassified felony.

The Texas County Sheriff’s Department was called after Neal allegedly initiated physical altercations with various people attending a party. According to a report, he allegedly pulled a knife from his pocket, opened the blade and make threats to stab people at a party.

Neal also allegedly said he would retrieve a firearm and shoot people. He later had a .22-caliber rifle in his possession, according to the report.

Bond is set at $3,000 cash only.
