- A deputy was dispatched Oct. 23 regarding a report of a domestic assault at a Ledgewood Road residence at Cabool.
The officer made contact with three women there, ages 40, 52 and 52. One of the older women told the officer the other two had been in a verbal argument and she had intervened. The woman said she struck the other 52-year-old woman in the face after being called a derogatory name.
She was arrested and taken to jail.
- Samuel G. Rogers 18, of Success Road at Success, was issued a citation for driving on the wrong side of the road causing an imminent threat of an accident on Oct. 30.
A deputy traveling southbound on Route 17 near Success observed a black Chevrolet Silverado traveling northbound on the wrong side of the road.
To avoid a collision, the officer was forced to run off the roadway.
The deputy turned around and conducted a traffic stop.
Contact was made with the driver, Rogers, who said he was having a seizure, and it was the first time he had experienced a seizure while driving. While the officer was speaking with Rogers, his parents arrived on the scene, and after being advised of the situation, they said they would drive him home.
