Between Nov. 10 and 16, the Houston Police Department answered 222 calls for service and initiated 55 traffic stops, resulting in 24 citations and 36 warnings.
- On Nov. 11, Samantha Fleming, 37, of Houston, was arrested and charged with driving while revoked/suspended, following a traffic stop.
- On Nov. 11, officers were dispatched to the intersection of South Sam Houston Blvd and Holder Drive for a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, it was found that a 2025 GMC Sierra was following a 2025 Ford Ranger north on U.S. 63 when the driver of the GMC struck the Ford, which was coming to a stop at the traffic light. No injuries were reported.Â
- On Nov. 11, officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of South Sam Houston Blvd for a motor vehicle theft. The stolen vehicle was later recovered in Rolla. Investigation is ongoing.
- On Nov. 12, officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of South Sam Houston Blvd for a theft. Investigation is ongoing.Â
- On Nov. 12, Josiah Church, 33, of Houston, was arrested and charged with driving while revoked/suspended, following a traffic stop.
- On Nov. 12, Kyle Rector, 37, of Licking, was arrested and charged with driving while revoked/suspended, following a traffic stop.
- On Nov. 13, Billy Letterman, 21, of Elk Creek, was arrested on a Phelps County warrant for a forgery charge. Letterman was incarcerated in the Texas County Jail after being unable to post bond.
- On Nov. 13, Keri Terrill, 53, was arrested on a Texas County warrant for the charge of failure to display plates on a motor vehicle. Terrill was able to post bond and was released.
- On Nov. 14, officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on U.S. 63 near the entrance to Walmart. Upon arrival, it was found that a 2003 Ford Mustang was turning from the Walmart parking lot and struck a 2003 Ford F350 that was traveling south on U.S. 63. No injuries were reported.
- On Nov. 15, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Sam Houston Blvd for a disturbance. During the investigation, it was found that Dameon Berry, 46, is a convicted felon and in possession of a firearm. Berry was arrested and taken to the Texas County Jail. The Texas County prosecutor charged Berry with unlawful possession of a firearm. Berry is currently being held in the Texas County Jail on a $4,000 cash bond.
- On Nov. 15, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Sam Houston for the report of a trespasser. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Bennie Thompson, 31, who was cited for first-degree trespassing.
- On Nov. 16, officers arrested and charged Edgar De Leon, 46, of New Haven, for driving while intoxicated and no operator’s license following a traffic stop.Â
