The Miss Texas County and Southern Missouri Pageant crowned four new titleholders Saturday in Houston.

Peyton Taylor, of Licking, was crowned Miss Texas County Teen at the event hosted at Central Baptist Church. Taylor performed a lyrical dance to “At Last.” 

Emma Pitford, of Kahoka, was crowned Miss Southern Missouri Teen. Pitford performed a circus hula hoop routine to “Great Balls of Fire.” 

Emily Laskowski, of Columbia, was crowned Miss Texas County. Laskowski performed a clarinet solo to “The Entertainer.” 

Brooklyn Atterberry, of Plato, was crowned Miss Southern Missouri. Atterberry performed a tap dance routine to “You should be dancing.” 

The four ladies will compete at Miss Missouri competition in June to become Miss Missouri or Miss Missouri Teen. 

The Miss Missouri Organization provides thousands of dollars in scholarship money annually. The local organization is led by Cassie Carter, executive director, and Shari McCallister.
