Area residents are invited to a free Thanksgiving dinner hosted by Houston High School students Zoey Sutton and Sylvia Hayes Pursifull Saturday, Nov. 22.

The event — which will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Texas County Fairgrounds (1591 U.S. 63) in Houston — will include a holiday meal, games, prizes and photos with a giant turkey. Each family attending will also receive a free bag of groceries to take home.

The dinner is part of a Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) project, following last year’s successful “Pancakes with Santa” event. Community members and local businesses have provided generous donations to help make this year’s effort possible.

For more information, contact Zoey Sutton at 417-260-5390.
