A 28-year-old Houston man is charged with stalking after he allegedly threatened to kill a woman and her dog, authorities said.
Jacob Evans was arrested Monday after authorities sought to question him. On Thursday morning, the search for Evans took a large law enforcement presence to northwest Houston.
According to a Houston Police Department investigation, Evans’ alleged threats extended to burning down a former girlfriend’s apartment and harming the woman’s coworkers.
Bond is set at $3,500 cash. The charge is a class E felony.
