Members of the Texas County Commission held meetings Nov. 20 and 21 to handle several matters. 

MEETING ITEMS

  • Commissioners reviewed and approved a liquor license for Julies Rodriquez dba Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant in Cabool.
  • Sheriff Scott Lindsey informed the commission that a department vehicle was involved in a deer accident and was determined to be totaled by the insurance carrier.
  • A certificate of training for Parke Stevens Jr., prosecuting attorney, from the Missouri Office of Prosecution Services was reviewed and acknowledged.
  • A letter was reviewed and sent for the genealogical society. Glen McKinney informed the commission of progress at the historical museum.
  • David Scantlin discussed Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) progress with commissioners.
  • Bobby McCleod, In House Tech, met with the commission on several information technology projects.
