Zachary Armfield, of Rolla, was appointed by Gov. Mike Kehoe as a circuit judge in the 25th Judicial Circuit, which serves Maries, Phelps, Pulaski and Texas counties. 

Armfield serves as the assistant prosecuting attorney for Pulaski County, handling assault, domestic assault and other kinds of violent crime cases. He previously worked as a senior public defender for the State of Missouri in Rolla. 

He joins Brendon Fox and William Hickle as a circuit judge, filling a new position created by the General Assembly.

In addition to his professional career, he is an active member of the Rolla Lions’ Club. He earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Duke University and his law degree from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.
