Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said an Alton man was killed Wednesday in an accident on U.S. 60.
The 45-year-old man was claimed in the accident on U.S. 60 about one mile west of Ellsinore, it said.
The patrol said the accident occurred when an eastbound 2017 Ford Focus made a left turn in the path of a 2017 Ram 1500.
The man was a passenger in the car. Four others were injured.
It was Troop G’s 34th fatality for 2025 compared to 27 at the same time last year.
