A Bucyrus truck driver was injured Tuesday might in a two-vehicle crash in northwest Missouri, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Tpr. K.R. Kennedy said a northbound 2007 Freightliner driven by a 30-year-old man from Bucyrus had parked on the right shoulder of I-29 northbound when it was struck by a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe operated by a 33-year-old Kansas City man.

No names were released by the patrol.

The Texas County man, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken with minor injuries to North Kansas City Hospital.

The truck had moderate damage; the Santa Fe was totaled, the patrol said.
